*  FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR
   NORTHERN LA PAZ COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL ARIZONA

*  UNTIL 700 PM MST

*  SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED
   PARKER
   LAKESIDE
   EMPIRE LANDING

*  AT 555 MST THE SHERIFFS OFFICE IN PARKER REPORTED FLASH FLOODING
   IN THE PARKER AREA...WITH RAIN CONTINUING TO FALL HEAVILY AT
   TIMES. ON SOME ROADS THERE WAS A FOOT OF STANDING WATER AND MANY
   ROADS WERE CLOSED.

MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL ONE...ON FOOT.
TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
