LIGHT...CONTINUING ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. THIS RAINFALL...
HOWEVER...WILL STILL CAUSE ADDITIONAL RUNOFF THIS EVENING THAT
WILL PROLONG THE WIDESPREAD FLOOD PROBLEMS THROUGH THE REST OF THE
EVENING HOURS. SOME OF THE HARDEST HIT AREAS MAY NOT SEE FLOOD WATERS
RECEDE UNTIL MONDAY MORNING.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT.  MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL ONE...ON FOOT.
TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE@ UP TO HIGHER GROUND.
REMEMBER...NOW THAT IT IS DARK...BE ESPECIALLY CAREFUL AS IT
IS HARDER TO SEE THE EXTENT OF THE FLOODING.
