IN SOUTHEAST NEW YORK ...NASSAU COUNTY...QUEENS COUNTY AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WAS MOVING INTO NORTHERN QUEENS AND NORTHWESTERN NASSAU COUNTY. THESE STORMS HAVE A HISTORY OF PRODUCING LARGE HAIL AND TORRENTIAL RAINS. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING... AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
