SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  830 PM CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH ALABAMA
 
   ...SOUTHEASTERN COVINGTON COUNTY
 
AT 800 PM MOBILE DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
MOVING OUT OF NORTHEAST OKALOOSA COUNTY AND WILL MOVE THROUGH THE
SOUTHEAST PART OF COVINGTON COUNTY NEAR THE CITY OF FLORALA. THE STORM
WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH. THE MAIN THREAT FROM THIS STORM WILL BE
FROM LARGE HAIL.
 
A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.  REMEMBER
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES
WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.  REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO
RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
