IN SOUTH FLORIDA ...GLADES COUNTY AT 500 PM DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO SHOW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS COVERING MUCH OF GLADES COUNTY...THEREFORE THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING HAS BEEN UPDATED TO INCLUDE THE ENTIRE COUNTY. LARGE HAIL UP TO GOLF BALL SIZE AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH ARE LIKELY WITH THESE STORMS AS THEY MOVE LITTLE. DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN... AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM. SEEK SHELTER IN A STRONG BUILDING. STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS. DO NOT USE TELEPHONES OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES.
