THIS MORNINGS WEATHER MAP SHOWED A NEARLY STATIONARY FRONTAL BOUNDARY THAT STRETCHED FROM EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN NEW MEXICO NORTHEAST TO JUST SOUTH OF LUBBOCK INTO THE NORTHERN LOW ROLLING PLAINS JUST SOUTH OF CHILDRESS. THE ATMOSPHERE IS VERY MOIST AND UNSTABLE ACROSS THE REGION. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP AS A WEAK DISTURBANCE AND AFTERNOON HEATING AID IN PRODUCING LIFT ALONG THE FRONT.
