IN WEST CENTRAL NEBRASKA ...NORTHEASTERN HOOKER COUNTY AT 815 PM MDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY NORTH PLATTE DOPPLER RADAR 5 MILES EAST OF MULLEN MOVING EAST AT 15 MPH. ETA HAS 340 PLUS THETA-E RIDGE BUILDING INTO THE NEBRASKA PANHANDLE BY 00Z THIS EVENING AND INTO EASTERN NEBRASKA BY SUNDAY EVENING. COMBINING THAT WITH VERY WARM HUMID CONDITIONS AND WEAK QG-FORCING/PVA SHOULD TRIGGER AT LEAST SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE PANHANDLE WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF THEIR MOVING INTO THE EASTERN PANHANDLE OR EVEN CHERRY, GRANT, ARTHUR COUNTIES LATER IN THE EVENING.
