000 TTAA00 KJAN 210654 RRA SVRJAN LAC083-210800- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON MS 1252 AM CST FRI FEB 21 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN JACKSON HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 200 AM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHEAST LOUISIANA ...RICHLAND PARISH AT 1252 AM DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS MOVING THROUGH CENTRAL PORTIONS OF RICHLAND PARISH BETWEEN RAYVILLE AND ARCHIBALD. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTH NORTHEAST AT 50 MPH AND WILL MOVE THROUGH HOLLY RIDGE AND DELHI THROUGH 120 AM. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS. <
