AT 500 PM...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST SOUTHEAST
OF MACON. THE STORM WAS DRIFTING SLOWLY SOUTHEAST. HEAVY RAIN ALONG THE
NOXUBEE RIVER MAY LEAD TO LOCAL FLOODING.
 
PEOPLE NEAR THE STORM SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING AWAY
FROM WINDOWS.  DONT USE TELEPHONES OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNTIL
THE STORM HAS PASSED.  MOTORISTS DONT DRIVE INTO WATER CROSSINGS.
