AT 829 PM DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR THE
GREENWOOD AIRPORT IN WESTERN CARROLL COUNTY. THIS STORM WAS SHOWING
LITTLE MOVEMENT. ASLO...THE GREENWOOD AIRPORT REPORTED A WIND GUST OF 71
MPH. ALSO...RADAR ESTIMATED RAINFALL SHOWED AROUND 4 INCHES OF RAIN HAS
FALLEN SINCE 730 PM OVER WESTERN CARROLL COUNTY.
 
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH...PREPARE FOR
WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING.
PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD SEEK SHELTER INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING.
