RADAR ESTIMATES OF UP TO 7 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN SINCE 10 PM IN
HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS OVER MAINLY EASTERN PORTIONS OF CHOCTAW COUNTY.
AT 130 AM...ACKERMAN POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS EXTENSIVE FLOODING IN THE
ACKERMAN AREA. WATER AS DEEP AS 3 FEET IN PLACES HAS MOVED INTO CHOCTAW
PLAZA RETIREMENT CENTER AND EVACUATIONS ARE UNDERWAY.
 
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF UP TO ONE INCH IS STILL POSSIBLE WHICH WILL ONLY
AGGRAVATE RUNOFF.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR CAR INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
