583 WUUS1 KFWA 082228 SVRFWA INC087-082315- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORT WAYNE IN 526 PM EST TUE JUL 8 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FORT WAYNE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 615 PM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHEAST INDIANA ...LAGRANGE COUNTY AT 525 PM EST/ 625 PM EDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM LOCATED 5 MILES NORTHWEST OF HOWE INDIANA OR 40 MILES NORTHWEST INDIANA. THIS STORM WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH. PERSON IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM INCLUDE THE CITY OF LAGRANGE. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
