EARLIER ANTICIPATED CONVECTION NOT IN SWING THIS AFTN...AS COOLER AIR HAS BEEN ADVECTING IN AT THE SURFACE ALL DAY IN THE WEST...AND LOW CLOUDS REMAINED IN THE EAST THIS MORNING AND EARLY AFTN. THUS... INSTABILITY PROBABLY DID NOT MAX OUT AS EXPECTED. HOWEVER...ADAPS AND RECENT ANALYSES SHOW COVERGENCE ALONG FRONTAL BOUNDARY FROM EAST OF MCCOOK TO HILL CITY TO GARDEN CITY.
