000 TTAA00 KFTW 090103 RRA SVRFTW TXC237-337-090200- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORT WORTH TX 803 PM CDT THU MAY 8 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FORT WORTH HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 900 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS ...JACK COUNTY...MONTAGUE COUNTY AT 803 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A CLUSTER OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM HENRIETTA TO ARCHER CITY MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH. THESE STORMS WILL LIKELY PRODUCE WINDS IN EXCESS OF 65 MPH AND HAIL UP TO HALF DOLLAR SIZE AS THEY MOVE ACROSS JACK AND MONTAGUE COUNTIES. WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRI NG...YOU SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING. DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS. DON'T USE TELEPHONES OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.
