THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FORT WORTH HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  515 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...DENTON COUNTY
 
AT 211 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED THAT HEAVY
RAIN CONTINUED TO FALL OVER DENTON COUNTY. RADAR ESTIMATED THAT THE
RAIN WAS FALLING AT THE RATE OF 1 1/2 INCHES AN HOUR. THIS WILL LIKELY
RESULT IN FLASH FLOODING.
 
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
