475 WUUS1 KSAT 250313 SVRSAT TXC123-250400- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED...CORRECTED FOR LOCATION SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO TX 1000 PM CDT SAT MAY 24 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1100 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS ...DE WITT COUNTY AT 10 PM RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM APPROACHING YORKTOWN. THIS STORM WAS MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH AND WILL MOVE BETWEEN NORDHIEM AND YORKWOTN AND SOUTHWARD ROUGHLY ALONG FM 237. HEAVY RAIN...DANGEROUS LIGHTNING HIGH WINDS AND POSSIBLY HAIL CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THIS STORM. A FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR DE WITT COUNTY THROUGH 11 PM.
