IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS ...FRIO COUNTY AT 531 PM CST DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLY SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR DERBY TRACKING EASTWARD AT 30 MPH ALONG HWY 85 TOWARD CHARLOTTE. SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WINDS CAN REACH SPEEDS OVER 60 MPH. THESE WINDS BLOW DOWN TREES...POWER LINES...AND SEVERELY DAMAGE MOBILE HOMES... SOMETIMES BUILDINGS. VERY LARGE HAIL CAN INJUREB ANYONE CAUGHT OUTSIDE.
