FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  315 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...NORTHERN COMAL COUNTY...EASTERN KENDALL COUNTY
 
AT 1210 PM...RADAR INDICATED NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN CONTINUE TO REDEVLOP FROM CANYON LAKE WEST
TO SPRING BRANCH AND CAMP BULLIS. ALSO ACROSS KENDALL COUNTY BETWEEN
KENDALIA AND SISTERDALE.
 
RADAR INDICATED 3 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN ACROSS THESE AREAS.
OBSERVERS AT SPRING BRANCH HAVE MEASURED NEAR 5 INCHES SINCE LAST NIGHT
WITH 4 INCHES OF RAIN SINCE 8 AM.
 
MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST AT 10 MPH AND THIS MOTION WILL BRING THE HEAVY
RAIN TOWARD KENDALIA... CANYON LAKE AND FISCHER.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT.  IT IS
IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE RELATIVE TO STREAMS...RIVERS...OR
CREEKS WHICH CAN BECOME KILLERS IN HEAVY RAINS.  CAMPERS AND OTHER
PEOPLE IN RECREATION AREAS ALONG CREEKS...STREAMS...AND RIVERS IN
THE WARNING 2AREA SHOULD MOVE TO HIGH GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
 
AVOID ALREADY FLOODED AREAS.  TRAVELERS SHOULD NOT ATTEMPT TO
CROSS FLOODED ROADS.  IF YOUR VEHICLE STALLS...LEAVE IT AND MOVE
IMMEDIATELY TO HIGHER GROUND IF YOU CAN DO SO SAFELY.
