FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1230 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...ATASCOSA COUNTY...BEXAR COUNTY...WILSON COUNTY
 
AT 915 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED AS MUCH AS 4 INCHES
OR RAIN THIS EVENING IN PARTS OF ATASCOSA COUNTY. THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE
IN PROGRESS ALONG HIGHWAY 97 IN ATASCOSA AND WILSON COUNTIES.
THUNDERSTORMS ARE ALSO REDEVELOPING ACROSS MUCH OF BEXAR COUNTY.
 
THIS LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS HAS SHOWN LITTLE MOVEMENT OVER THE PAST HOUR
AND WITH ADDITIONAL DEVELOPMENT...RUNOFF MAY QUICKLY FILL LOW WATER
CROSSINGS AND LOW LYING AREAS.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED
ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
