000 TTAA00 KBOS 032304 RRA SVRBOS MAC013-015-032345- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TAUNTON MA 702 PM EDT THU JUL 3 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TAUNTON HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 745 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN WEST MASSACHUSETTS ...EASTERN HAMPDEN COUNTY...EASTERN HAMPSHIRE COUNTY AT 7 PM...DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CONTINUING TO MOVE EAST ACROSS THE WEST PART OF HAMPDEN AND HAMPSHIRE COUNTIES. THIS STORM WILL MOVE THROUGH THE EAST PARTS OF HAMPDEN AND HAMPSHIRE COUNTIES THROUGH 745 PM. LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS ARE LIKELY. TREES WERE REPORTED BLOWN DOWN IN CHESTER EARLIER THIS EVENING.
