000 TTAA00 KBOS 032211 RRA SVRBOS MAC013-015-032315- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TAUNTON MA 610 PM EDT THU JUL 3 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TAUNTON HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 715 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN WEST MASSACHUSETTS ...WESTERN HAMPDEN COUNTY...WESTERN HAMPSHIRE COUNTY AT 605 PM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM MOVING THROUGH SOUTHERN BERKSHIRE COUNTY. IT WILL MOVE INTO WESTERN HAMPDEN AND WESTERN HAMPSHIRE COUNTIES BY 630 PM PRODUCING LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS. THIS STORM WILL AFFECT TOWNS SUCH AS BLANDFORD...CHESTER...RUSSELL AND MONTGOMERY...NORTHWARD ACROSS MIDDLEFIELD...WORTHINGTON AND CHESTERFIELD. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.
