...SMALL STREAM FLOOD WARNING FOR CASSIA AND POWER COUNTIES
   UNTIL 900 PM...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SMALL STREAM FLOOD WARNING
FOR CASSIA AND POWER COUNTIES UNTIL 900 PM TONIGHT.  THIS INCLUDES THE
COMMUNITIES OF MALTA AND AMERICAN FALLS.  RADAR AND SATELLITE IMAGES
INDICATE STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN DEVELOPED THIS AFTERNOON
OVER CASSIA AND POWER COUNTIES.  THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING
NORTHEAST AT 5 TO 10 MPH.

THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE DEVELOPING OVER THE SAME AREAS WHICH WILL CAUSE
SIGNIFICANT WATER RUNOFF.  IN RESPONSE...SMALL STRXEAMS WILL RISE
RAPIDLY THIS EVENING AS THE THUNDERSTORMS MOVE THROUGH THE AREA.  THE
THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DIMINISH BY MIDNIGHT WITH STREAM LEVELS
DROPPING RAPIDLY.
