000 TTAA00 KBHM 222037 RRA SVRBHM ALC001-085-222125- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BIRMINGHAM AL 335 PM CDT TUE APR 22 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BIRMINGHAM AL HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 425 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN CENTRAL ALABAMA ...AUTAUGA ...LOWNDES AT 334 PM CDT...WEATHER RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUING TO MOVE ACROSS AUTAUGA AND LOWNDES COUNTIES FROM THE BILLINGSLEY AND WADSWORTH AREAS TO NEAR COLLIRENE...AND FAMERVILLE. THE STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH AND WILL AFFECT MOST LOCATIONS ACROSS EACH COUNTY. DAMAGING WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH AND LARGE HAIL CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THESE STORMS. THIS EXTENDS THE PREVIOUS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR THESE COUNTIES. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER...
