IN NORTHWEST NORTH DAKOTA ...BURKE COUNTY AT 452 PM CDT DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 65 MILES NORTHWEST OF MINOT NEAR POWERS LAKE. THE STORM WAS MOVING NORTH AT 20 MPH. TOWNS IN THE PATH OF THE STORM INCLUDE POWERS LAKE. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.
