000 TTAA00 KBIS 110153 RRA SVRBIS NDC101-061-110300- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BISMARCK ND 852 PM CDT THU JUL 10 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BISMARCK HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTH CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA ...WARD COUNTY IN NORTHWEST NORTH DAKOTA ...EASTERN MOUNTRAIL COUNTY AT 846 PM CDT DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM 35 MILES SOUTHWEST OF MINOT NEAR PARSHALL TO 45 MILES NORTHWEST OF MINOT. ANOTHER CLUSTER OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WAS CENTERED 10 MILES NORTH OF MINOT. AT 845 PM CDT 1 INCH HAIL WAS REPORTED AT MINOT AIR FORCE BASE. VERY STRONG WINDS WITH TREES BLOWN DOWN WAS REPORTED IN THE RYDER/MAKOTI AREA OF SOUTHWESTERN WARD COUNTY. THE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH AND MAY PRODUCE STREET AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING. THIS WARNING INCL&UDES THE CITIES OF MINOT..BURLINGTON..SURREY AND KENMARE. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS. & LEBLANG
