AT 525 PM RADAR SHOWED SEVERAL STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OVER
NORTHERN AND EASTERN CHAVES COUNTY. LITTLE MOVEMENT WAS NOTED WITH THESE
STORMS. THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE 3 MILES NORTH OF ROSWELL AND 25 MILES
NORTHEAST OF ROSWELL NEAR HIGHWAY 70.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
