000 TTAA00 KABQ 120430 RRA SVRABQ NMC011-120505- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ALBUQUERQUE NM 1030 PM MDT MON AUG 11 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1105 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN EAST CENTRAL NEW MEXICO ...SOUTHEASTERN AND EAST CENTRAL DE BACA COUNTY AT 1030 PM MDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY DOPPLER RADAR 20 MILES SOUTH OF FORT SUMNER MOVING EAST AT 10 MPH. THIS STORM IS EXPECTED TO REMAIN IN RURAL AREAS. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH... DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
