IN EAST CENTRAL NEW MEXICO ...QUAY COUNTY AT 1148 PM RADAR SHOWED SCATTERED STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS WESTERN QUAY COUNTY. MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH. COMMUNITIES IN THE PATH OF THESE STORMS ARE TUCUMCARI...QUAY AND HOUSE. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
