000 TTAA00 KTUS 040034 SVRTUS AZC019-021-040115- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TUCSON ARIZONA 535 PM MST WED JUL 3 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TUCSON ARIZONA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 615 PM MST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN SOUTH CENTRAL ARIZONA ...EXTREME NORTHEASTERN PIMA COUNTY ...EXTREME SOUTHEAST PINAL COUNTY AT 528 PM MST...TUCSON DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM REMAINS OVER FAR NORTHEAST PIMA COUNTY AND FAR SOUTHEAST PINAL COUNTY. THE STORM WAS LOCATED BETWEEN RED ROCK AND ORACLE JUNCTION AND HAS SHOWN LITTLE MOVEMENT SINCE 5 PM. THIS SEVERE STORM WILL AFFECT HIGHWAY 77...HIGHWAY 79...AND RED ROCK BEFORE 630 PM. DAMAGAING WIND IS THE PRIMARY THREAT FROM THIS STORM...BUT INTENSE LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL ACCOMPANY THE STORM. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS A FLOODED ROADWAY.
