000 TTAA00 KTUS 082332 FFWTUS AZC023-090015- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TUCSON ARIZONA 430 PM MST MON JUL 8 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TUCSON ARIZONA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 515 PM MST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN SOUTH CENTRAL ARIZONA NORTH CENTRAL SANTA CRUZ COUNTY AT 425 PM TUCSON DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 1 MILE SOUTHEAST OF TUBAC. THE CITIES OF CARMEN WILL ALSO BE AFFECTED BY THIS STORM BY 5 PM. THE PORTION OF INTERSTATE-19 BETWEEN CARMEN AND AMADO WILL ALSO BE HIT BY THIS SEVERE STORM. STORMS TODAY HAVE BEEN SEVERE AND PRODUCED EXTREME AMOUNTS OF RAIN. EXTREME CAUTION IS ADVISED IN THE LOCATION OF THESE STORMS. A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT.
