UNTIL 6 PM...

NUMEROUS SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS EASTERN OKLAHOMA
AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH EARLY TONIGHT.

A POWERFUL EARLY-SPRING STORM WILL CONTINUE MOVING OVER THE PLAINS
THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING AND BRING SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS TO
EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS.

A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING OVER CENTRAL OKLAHOMA
ALONG A STRONG DRYLINE WILL INTENSIFY AND MOVE EASTWARD OVER THE
BARTLESVILLE...TULSA AND MCALESTER AREAS EARLY THIS AFTERNOON...
ACROSS THE REMAINDER OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA DURING THE MID AND LATE
AFTERNOON...AND ACROSS NORTHWEST ARKANSAS AND EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN
OKLAHOMA FROM LATE AFTERNOON THROUGH MID EVENING.  HAIL UP TO THE
SIZE OF QUARTERS AND DAMAGING WINDS UP TO 70 MPH WILL BE LIKELY
FROM THE LINE.

AHEAD OF THE LINE...CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF
SCATTERED SUPERCELL STORMS.  THE WIND PROFILE IS FAVORABLE FOR
TORNADO DEVELOPMENT...AND CONDITIONS ALSO FAVOR HAIL UP TO GOLFBALL
SIZE AND WINDS UP TO 70 MPH WITH ANY SUPERCELLS THAT FORM.  THE
SUPERCELL STORMS AND ASSOCIATED TORNADOES WILL BE MOST LIKELY
ACROSS NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS MAINLY ALONG AND
NORTH OF INTERSTATE 40...THOUGH AN ISOLATED SUPERCELL IS POSSIBLE
SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 40.

THE THREAT OF SEVERE WEATHER WILL DIMINISH AFTER THE PASSAGE OF THE
LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS AND THE DRYLINE.
