000 TTAA00 KTOP 260941 SVRTOP KSC061-261015- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TOPEKA KS 441 AM CDT SUN MAY 26 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TOPEKA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 515 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN EAST CENTRAL KANSAS ...GEARY COUNTY AT 440 AM DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 10 MILES SOUTH OF JUNCTION CITY NEAR OLSON. THE STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH AND WILL LIKELY PRODUCE LARGE HAIL ACROSS RURAL AREAS OF GEARY COUNTY. VERY HEAVY RAINFALL OF OVER AN INCH AN HOUR IS ALSO LIKELY WITH THIS STORM. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM! STAY INDOORS AWAY FROM WIND2OWS!
