...THUNDERSTORMS MOVING ACROSS MUCH OF UTAH...

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING ACROSS MUCH OF UTAH THIS
AFTERNOON.  DETECTION EQUIPMENT INDICATES WIDESPREAD AREAS OF
LIGHTNING ACROSS THE STATE.  THESE THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING TO THE
NORTHEAST FROM 15-30 MPH AND MAY ALSO PRODUCE AREAS OF BRIEF HEAVY
RAIN AND GUSTY ERRATIC WINDS.  SOUTHERLY SURFACE WINDS 20-30 MPH
ACROSS SOUTHERN UTAH WILL ADD TO THE GUSTY ERRATIC WINDS ASSOCIATED
WITH THUNDERSTORMS.

IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE IN A THUNDERSTORM...DO NOT STAND UNDERNEATH
A TALL ISOLATED TREE OR A TELEPHONE POLE.  THESE OBJECTS ARE MOST
LIKELY TO BE STRUCK BY LIGHTNING.  IF YOU ARE IN A GROUP...HELP TO
PROTECT YOURSELF AND OTHERS FROM LIGHTNING BY SPREADING OUT...KEEPING
