THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY HAS ISSUED A 
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL MIDNIGHT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN NORTHWEST UTAH

   ...EASTERN BOX ELDER COUNTY

 
HEAVY RAIN IS EXPECTED IN EASTERN BOX ELDER COUNTY BETWEEN NOW AND
MIDNIGHT.  DOPPLER RADAR INDICATES THAT SOME AREAS HAVE RECEIVED OVER
1.5 INCHES PER HOUR ON THE WEST OF AND OVER THE GREAT SALT LAKE. 
THIS SYSTEM CONTINUES TO MOVE NORTHEAST VERY SLOWLY AND THIS KIND OF
HEAVY RAIN IS LIKELY IN EASTERN BOX ELDER COUNTY. 

THE AREA MOST SUSCEPTIBLE TO FLASH FLOODING IS THE AREA ALONG AND
EAST OF THE I-15 CORRIDOR AND ESPECIALLY ALONG THE FOOTHILLS.

MOST DEATHS IN FLASH FLOODING OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT ATTEMPT
TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. 
NEVER XTRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL ONE...ON FOOT.
