THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY HAS ISSUED A 
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  215 AM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN NORTH CENTRAL UTAH

   ...EASTERN SALT LAKE COUNTY

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR BIG AND LITTLE COTTONWOOD
CREEKS AND MILL CREEK UNTIL 215 AM MDT.  COUNTY OFFICIAL REPORT THAT
FLOODING HAS DEVELOPED ALONG THESE CREEKS AS A RESULT OF THIS
EVENINGS RAIN.  WATER LEVELS WERE STILL RISING AND WILL DO SO OVER
THE NEXT 1-2 HOURS.

OTHER CREEKS FLOWING OUT OF THE WASATCH MOUNTAINS INTO EASTERN SALT
LAKE COUNTY MAY ALSO FLOOD SHORTLY AND SHOULD BE WATCHED CLOSELY. 
LITTLE ADDITIONAL RAIN IS EXPECTED THE REST OF NIGHT AND FLOW SHOULD
BEGIN TO RECEDE SLOWLY AFTER 215 AM.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED
...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO NOT STAY IN
AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
