FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION......

RAINS FROM LAST NIGHT ARE STILL AFFECTING STREAMS IN EASTERN LAWRENCE
COUNTY.  SMALL STREAMS AND CREEKS ARE STILL RUNNING HIGH...THEREFORE
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IS CONTINUING THE FLOOD WARNING.
SYMMES CREEK IS STILL RISING AND SHOULD CREST AROUND 1PM AND START TO
FALL.  PERSONS ALONG SYMMES CREEK AND OTHER STREAMS AND CREEKS IN
EASTERN LAWRENCE COUNTY SHOULD MONITOR WATER LEVELS.
 
MOST DEATHS IN FLASH FLOODING OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A
SMALL ONE...ON FOOT. DO NOT DRIVE AROUND POLICE BARRICADES.
