000 TTAA00 KPHL 122205 SVRPHL NJC023-122300- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PHILADELPHIA/MOUNT HOLLY NJ 605 PM EDT WED JUN 12 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHILADELPHIA/MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 700 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NEW JERSEY ...SOUTHERN MIDDLESEX COUNTY NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS ABOUT TO ENTER SOUTHERN MIDDLESEX COUNTY. THIS STORM HAS HAD A HISTORY OF PRODUCING HAIL AS LARGE AS GOLF BALLS...WIND GUSTS BETWEEN 50 AND 60 MPH...FREQUENT BLACKOUT PRODUCING LIGHTNING AND TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS...IN EXCESS OF AN INCH OF RAIN PER HOUR.
