IN NEW JERSEY ...MERCER COUNTY THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY NJ HAS EXTENDED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR MERCER COUNTY UNTIL 1015 PM. DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUES TO SHOW PERSISTENT HEAVY RAIN IN MERCER COUNTY WITH STILL MORE TO COME. AT 715 PM...THE ASSUNPINK CREEK AT TRENTON WAS 5.8 FEET AND RISING. WITH HEAVY RAIN FORECAST TO CONTINUE FOR AT LEAST THE NEXT HOUR OR SO...THE ASSUNPINK CREEK COULD RISE VERY RAPIDLY THIS EVENING. AS A RESULT...THE ASSUNPINK CREEK IS FORECAST TO CREST BETWEEN 8 TO 9 FEET AROUND 10 PM. FLOOD STAGE ON THE ASSUNPINK CREEK AT TRENTON IS 7 FEET.
