000 TTAA00 KPHL 122204 FFWPHL NJC021-130010- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PHILADELPHIA/MOUNT HOLLY NJ 607 PM EDT WED JUN 12 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHILADELPHIA/MOUNT HOLLY NJ HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 810 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NEW JERSEY ...MERCER COUNTY AT 600 PM...RADAR SHOWED THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL ACROSS MERCER COUNTY. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING VERY SLOWLY TO THE NORTHEAST. RADAR WAS ESTIMATING RAINFALL OF UP TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR WITH THESE STORMS. IN ADDITION...THUNDERSTORMS OVER LOWER BUCKS COUNTY WILL BE MOVING INTO MERCER COUNTY...AGGRAVATING THE FLOOD SITUATION. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED AREAS. THE WATER MAY BE DEEPER THAN YOU THINK. RAPIDLY RISING WATERS CAN QUICKLY ENGULF YOUR VEHICLE AND ITS OCCUPANTS...WASHING THEM AWAY. REMEMBER...
