FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHEAST NEW YORK
 
   ...WESTCHESTER COUNTY
 
AT 434 PM...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS OVER FAR NORTHERN ROCKLAND COUNTY
JUST TO THE NORTHWEST OF STONY POINT. THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST
SOUTHEAST AT 15 MPH AND WILL REACH PLEASANTVILLE BY AROUND 500 PM.
 
THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS...
TORRENTIAL RAINS AND LOCALIZED STREET FLOODING.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
