000 TTAA00 KLBF 042321 SVRLBF NEC009-171-050005- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NORTH PLATTE NE 621 PM CDT TUE JUN 4 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NORTH PLATTE NE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 705 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA ...WESTERN BLAINE COUNTY ...THOMAS COUNTY AT 617 PM CDT DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED ONE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR SENECA...OR 10 MILES EAST OF MULLEN. ANOTHER SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED 13 MILES NORTHEAST OF THEDFORD...OR 30 MILES EAST NORTHEAST OF MULLEN. THE STORMS WERE MOVING SOUTH AT 25 MPH AND SHOULD MOVE TO 10 MILES WEST AND 10 MILES EAST OF THEDFORD BY 6 45 PM CDT. GOLFBALL SIZE HAIL AND WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED AS THE STORM PASSES. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE TORNADOES.
