000 TTAA00 KLBF 150421 SVRLBF NEC031-091-150445- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NORTH PLATTE NE 1118 PM CDT (1018 PM MDT) TUE MAY 14 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NORTH PLATTE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1145 PM CDT (1045 PM MDT) FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA ...SOUTHERN CHERRY COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL NEBRASKA ...HOOKER COUNTY AT 1120 PM CDT DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS LOCATED FROM 25 MILES SOUTH SOUTHEAST OF MERRIMAN TO 10 MILES NORTHEAST OF ARTHUR. THE LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 50 MPH. THE LINE OF STORMS SHOULD REACH MULLEN BY 1135 PM CDT. THIS LINE OF STORMS WILL PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS AND SOME HAIL. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A STRONG BUILDING. DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN... AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.
