THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN JACKSON HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1140 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...

IN SOUTHEAST KENTUCKY

   ...BREATHITT
 
AT 1035 PM RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO 15 MILES NORTHWEST OF
JACKSON NEAR BETHANY. A SPOTTER HAS ALSO REPORTED A FUNNEL IN LEE
COUNTY.

THE STORM WITH THE POSSIBLE TORNADO WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 35 MPH.
PEOPLE IN VAN CLEVE AND JACKSON SHOULD TAKE SHELTER NOW.
 
DO NOT USE YOUR CAR TO OUTRUN A TORNADO.  CARS ARE EASILY TOSSED
AROUND BY TORNADO WINDS.  IF YOU ARE CAUGHT IN .THE PATH OF A
TORNADO...LEAVE THE CAR AND GO TO A STRONG BUILDING.  IF NO
