THE FIRST WAVE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUES TRACKING
NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH. FOR THE MOST PART...THESE STORMS HAVE PRODUCED
TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS AND SOME PEA-SIZED HAIL.

AS THE STORMS MOVED THROUGH EASTERN COLORADO...SOME 3/4-INCH HAIL
BRIEFLY FELL NEAR STRATTON. HOWEVER...THE RAINFALL AMOUNTS WERE
IMPRESSIVE...WITH 3 TO 4 INCHES OF RAINFALL IN LESS THAN AN HOUR
IN THE VICINITY OF STRATTON LATE THIS AFTERNOON.

THE MAIN THREAT OF THIS LINE OF STORMS WILL BE FROM HEAVY RAINFALL
AND FLOODING OVER AREAS OF NORTHWEST KANSAS ALREADY SATURATED BY
PRECIPITATION DURING THE PAST WEEK.
