IN NORTHEAST TEXAS ...LAMAR COUNTY AT 755 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED A DEVELOPING TORNADO 5 MILES NORTHWEST OF PARIS....NEAR LAKE CROOK. MOVEMENT WAS EAST AT 15 TO 20 MPH. AHMERST AND FAUGHT ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS DEVELOPING TORNADO. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE.
