IN SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA ...SOUTHERN LINCOLN COUNTY AT 416 PM CDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY SIOUX FALLS DOPPLER RADAR 21 MILES SOUTH OF SIOUX FALLS OR 9 MILES SOUTHWEST OF CANTON MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH. THIS STORM CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE VICINITY OF NEWTON HILLS STATE PARK... AROUND 430 PM CDT THIS WARNING EXTENDS PART OF THE EARLIER SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING THAT WAS IN EFFECT FOR LINCOLN COUNTY SD. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A STRONG...REINFORCED BUILDING.
