000 TTAA00 KFAR 170604 SVRFAR NDC003-170630- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA ND 101 AM CDT FRI MAY 17 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 130 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA ...BARNES COUNTY AT 1 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH DAMAGING WINDS FROM BUCHANAN TO MILLARTON...OR ABOUT 5 MILES WEST OF JAMESTOWN. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 50 MPH. THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL REACH ECKELSON BY 110 AM...AND SHOULD REACH VALLEY CITY BY 120 AM. PEOPLE IN BARNES COUNTY SHOULD PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WINDS WITH THESE STORMS. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.
