000 TTAA00 KATL 170048 SVRATL GAC015-057-067-223-170130- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PEACHTREE CITY GA 848 PM EDT MON SEP 16 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PEACHTREE CITY HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 930 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTHWEST GEORGIA ...BARTOW COUNTY...CHEROKEE COUNTY...COBB COUNTY ...PAULDING COUNTY AT 845 PM EDT WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 10 MILES NORTH OF DALLAS ALONG THE NORTHERN PAULDING COUNTY LINE. THE WAS MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH. THIS STORM WILL MOVE OVER ACWORTH AROUND 9 PM AND NEAR WOODSTOCK AROUND 915 PM. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN .EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
