000 TTAA00 KATL 280044 SVRATL GAC015-223-280130- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PEACHTREE CITY GA 843 PM EDT MON MAY 27 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PEACHTREE CITY HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 930 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTHWEST GEORGIA ...BARTOW COUNTY...PAULDING COUNTY AT 840 PM EDT WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A CLUSTER OF SEVER THUNDERSTORMS FROM ROME TO CEDARTOWN MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH. THESE STORMS HAVE BEEN ACCOMPANIED BY REPORTS OF DAMAGE TO HOUSES SOUTH OF ROME IN FLOYD COUNTY. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH YOU SHOULD PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING. PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER...
