SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  345 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN NORTHWEST GEORGIA

   ...BARTOW COUNTY...PAULDING COUNTY

AT 248 A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED NEAR TAYLORSVILLE. THIS STORM
WILL BE MOVING NEAR CARTERSVILLE BY 305 PM EDT. THIS STORMS WERE MOVING
EAST 40 MPH.


A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.  REMEMBER
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES

THUNDERSTORMS HAVE MOVED INTO THAT AREA AND SOME OF THESE STORMS
HAVE BEEN SEVERE.

WARM MOIST AIR OVER GEORGIA COMBINED WITH AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE
WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON. RESIDENTS OF
EXTREME NORTH GEORGIA SHOULD BE ALERT FOR STRONG GUSTY WINDS...LARGE
HAIL AND HEAVY DOWNPOURS. ELSEWHERE ACROSS THE REMAINDER OF NORTH AND
CENTRAL GEORGIA THIS AFTERNOON...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED
TO DEVELOP IN THE UNSTABLE AIR.
